Taylor-Swift

Taylor Swift, in full Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13 1989 West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.) American pop and country music singer and songwriter, whose stories of young heartache achieved widespread popularity in the first decade of the 20th century. Swift discovered a love for musical instruments as a young person and swiftly progressed from participating in children's shows and then making her first public appearance the front of a crowd. As Swift sang The Star-Spangled Banner in front of the Philadelphia 76ers at a game at age 11, she was already writing songs. In the following year, she took up guitar. Swift was inspired by artists in country music such as Shania Twain, the Dixie Chicks and, more recently, the Chicks to come up with original songs which reflected the alienation she felt at 13 years old. Swift's parents moved her to Tennessee when she was thirteen after they sold their Pennsylvania farm. This allowed Swift to be more active in courting labels for the country genre in Nashville.
